Privacy: A Human Right

In a world that's increasingly being watched, monitored and put under surveillance, it's important to remember the basic right to privacy.

Bruche Schneier sums it up in a very good article: "The Value of Privacy". Quis custodiet custodes ipsos? Who's watching the watchers?

We "write letters to secret lovers and then burn them"! (I assume he's writing about the letters)

That was more information about people's private moments than I needed.

I...make cucumber sallad or have a cup of coffee on the balcony. Should I be more passionate, maybe? (Now when someone might be watching me)

But putting fire to cucumber sallad is hard.

Well, maybe you pray at home. Maybe you mention very private things in those prayers that maybe should be best kept to yourself.

Just a thought.

Oh dear, I thought it was obvious that I was not too serious with what I wrote!
